Medical Training

From CPR/AED and rapid response medical training to Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC), we prepare and equip you to save lives in emergency situations, including your own.

"I want to thank the Defend Systems team for your TECC course. I spoke to both my team members and as expected they both had rave reviews about the training—everything from the classroom to the practical hands-on. One actually made the comment that Defend Systems offered a better, more in-depth training than what he had in his military training with the U.S. Air Force. On behalf of myself and my team, THANK YOU for the attention to detail."
Todd Fleischer, Logistics Manager, Whiskey Myers

Tactical Emergency Casualty Care:

Advanced trauma medical training with a tactical approach.

TECC focuses on and provides guidelines for managing trauma in the civilian tactical or hazardous environment. This two-day course takes an all-hazard approach to providing care outside the normal operating conditions of most EMS agencies, such as responding to a mass casualty or active shooter event.

Designed for anyone who may find themselves in a high-stress emergency situation, not just medical professionals, TECC is open to civilians, first responders, security personnel, and concerned community members alike. It is fully aligned with the recommendations of the Hartford Consensus (I, II, III, and IV), the C-TECC standards, and the principles of Tactical Combat Casualty Care.

Upon successful completion of TECC, students receive a 4-year certification from NAEMT as a TECC Provider.

CPR/AED:

Learn high-quality Heartsaver CPR with an American Heart Association instructor.

The American Heart Association’s Heartsaver course equips participants to quickly recognize life-threatening emergencies, perform high-quality chest compressions, deliver effective ventilations, and use an AED. The course reflects the latest science and education from the AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Upon successful completion of the course and skills assessment, you'll receive your CPR certification card via email, valid for two years and guaranteed to be accepted.
