Tactical Emergency Casualty Care:
Advanced trauma medical training with a tactical approach.
TECC focuses on and provides guidelines for managing trauma in the civilian tactical or hazardous environment. This two-day course takes an all-hazard approach to providing care outside the normal operating conditions of most EMS agencies, such as responding to a mass casualty or active shooter event.
Designed for anyone who may find themselves in a high-stress emergency situation, not just medical professionals, TECC is open to civilians, first responders, security personnel, and concerned community members alike. It is fully aligned with the recommendations of the Hartford Consensus (I, II, III, and IV), the C-TECC standards, and the principles of Tactical Combat Casualty Care.
Upon successful completion of TECC, students receive a 4-year certification from NAEMT as a TECC Provider.
