Medical Training
From CPR/AED and rapid response medical training to Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC), we prepare and equip you to save lives in emergency situations, including your own.
"I want to thank the Defend Systems team for your TECC course. I spoke to both my team members and as expected they both had rave reviews about the training—everything from the classroom to the practical hands-on. One actually made the comment that Defend Systems offered a better, more in-depth training than what he had in his military training with the U.S. Air Force. On behalf of myself and my team, THANK YOU for the attention to detail."

Tactical Emergency Casualty Care:
Advanced trauma medical training with a tactical approach.
TECC focuses on and provides guidelines for managing trauma in the civilian tactical or hazardous environment. This two-day course takes an all-hazard approach to providing care outside the normal operating conditions of most EMS agencies, such as responding to a mass casualty or active shooter event.
Designed for anyone who may find themselves in a high-stress emergency situation, not just medical professionals, TECC is open to civilians, first responders, security personnel, and concerned community members alike. It is fully aligned with the recommendations of the Hartford Consensus (I, II, III, and IV), the C-TECC standards, and the principles of Tactical Combat Casualty Care.
Upon successful completion of TECC, students receive a 4-year certification from NAEMT as a TECC Provider.

"The best part—the instructors. Clear, concise, they're with you all the way. You guys need this. I'm now very confident out and about whether I need to treat myself or others."

"I survived a gunshot to the neck by sealing it with my own finger- their advice is so right. It really works. I believe deeply in being first aid ready- this was the best training I’ve ever been to. I’ll be recommending this to all my service organizations, churches, etc. I’ve been fortunate to be useful in two car crashes, a choking child, and several kid injuries from falls, breaks, and punctures, but I can't imagine how good I could be after this. 100/10 this was amazing."

"Excellent training. I took their TECC course for emergency medical care at The Glock Store in Nashville. They were able to blend in standard training with scenarios, hands-on training, and top-shelf trauma situations to help me experience decision-making in a high-stress environment. The scenarios they built for us to train in were worth the price tag."
